Unmatched

A warrior lost in battles of life,
Body numb and courage torn apart,
Dejected, I dragged myself home
And to Pappa with a heavy heart
He put his hand over my head
And caressed like a flower
An unmatched love and faith it was
I rose and I had power.

A walk with you

Will you walk with me
deep into the woods
And live with life
to cherish her seasonal moods
And feel the ecstasy
of the morn's joyous heart
As it kisseth the ravishing
Earth with art
And get mesmerised
by the silent night
As the heavens shower stars
blending glory with the sight.

Will you walk with me
on the blue paths untrod
Wrapped with serenity
unto the abode of God
And touch the sanctity
of the sky infinite
Feeling the pleasure
of life's greatest delight
And swing on time
with a promise from thee
That thy shall walk thus
forever with me.

It's raining!

It's raining!
I looked out of the open window. My not-for-a-reason gloomy mood watched the precious pearls over the grass and began making its way out. It is beginning to get cold. The slanting rain looks superb! The roaring sky is adding to the dulcet music of the rain and the lightening is ornamenting the Heaven like a million diamonds!

The Earth is beaming with joy. And before I could realise, my heart started dancing with the rain!

My world out of the window

There's a window just next to my desk in the lab and it's a whole new world to me. Very tall green grass spread out with a couple of still taller trees here and there. All that I can see from here is the Green and the Blue!

And when I gaze up, I spot some kites. And although I cannot see them, I can feel the joy of the village-kids flying the kites. I can feel their excitment of flying high and the exhilaration of reaching up, up and above.

As the dusk sets in, the Blue slowly turns into a brilliant Orange and then a peaceful Purple. The breeze flowing across the grass rejuvenates my soul and the free-flying, carefree birds returning back home lighten up my heart.

And all this, through my window, my world!
