Enigma

An enigma you are, ununderstood, unsolved
Crawling silently, a visitor uncalled
You come in and settle without a knock
And speak no words, there's nothing to talk

Face, body, colour, taste and smell you lack
Your presence is pregnant silence black
You look and find your image in my eyes
Slowly replaced by the vast skies

Wind of sorrow turbulent grips the sky tight
Poor sky is no match to the delirious might
It screams thunder and cries out rain
Then no wind or sky, only my trickling tears of pain

I need a shoulder to lean and cry
And a hand to soothe my sigh
You've caused my heart's turmoil and emptiness
I ask your identity, you say, "My name is Loneliness".

My beloved

In the twinkling midnight,
I see you, my beloved, as the Moon,
one amidst a thousand stars;
longing for me with passionate patience,
litting the heavenly dark bars.

Upon the Earth,
I stand as an ocean of love,
jewelled by your glittering light,
I treasure your silvery reflection
deep down my heart;
and with splendid delight,
I raise my watery hands
to thy affection infinite.

In love with you

Like all-night walk and morning Sun
Like laughter, claps and playful fun
Like twinkling little stars above
Like a free, high-flying dove
Like a big-big yellow balloon
Like a cold breeze on heated noon
Like the refreshing good night’s sleep
Like blue waters in ocean deep
Like the racing clouds in sky
Like adventures on mountains high
Like the joy on tickling got
Like fog’s fragrance in breathing caught
Like the fresh fresh winter dew
I am, darling, in love with you
